Created right in the streets of Blackburn Hamlet, it represents pride amongst its people with an initiative to give back. With every purchase made, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to community programs. By creating this company we are not only giving you quality comfort in our product, but an opportunity to together help others in need. A customer’s goal is to look good and feel good. Blackburn By Shug is a company designed to create comfortable urban apparel that reflects its community. It was established in Blackburn Hamlet, Ottawa in 2018 by former NHL player Mark Fraser. Mark has always had a passion for his community and by creating a company that donates a portion of its proceeds back into neighborhood programs he can give back to the community who raised him. Blackburn By Shug has goals to expand beyond Blackburn Hamlet and to contribute in charitable ways all throughout the city of Ottawa and beyond. We strive to make comfortable urban athletic gear that reflects the PRIDE and PEOPLE of Blackburn Hamlet.
